In new street additions, Chirawa and Muyinga both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Katanga fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Chirawa and Muyinga both became progressively more disconnected, while Katanga became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Chirawa had a more sprawly network than Muyinga in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
