While Punjab and India both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Bathinda's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bathinda's incremental SNDi rose from 2.93 to 4.25 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Bathinda fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kushtia built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Xinyang built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Bathinda fluctuated in connectivity, while Kushtia became progressively more disconnected and Xinyang became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Bathinda and Xinyang have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
