The SNDi of new construction in Amritsar rose steadily, compared to Punjab which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Amritsar's incremental SNDi rose from 4.06 to 4.67 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Amritsar and San Antonio both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Huaiyin District built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Amritsar and San Antonio both became progressively more disconnected, while Huaiyin District fluctuated in connectivity. Amritsar and Huaiyin District have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
