The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Asika plotted against Odisha and India. The SNDi of new construction in Asika rose steadily, compared to Odisha which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Asika and Yuanshi both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Kitotolo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Asika and Yuanshi both became progressively more disconnected, while Kitotolo fluctuated in connectivity. Asika and Kitotolo have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
