The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Risod plotted against Maharashtra and India. The SNDi of new construction in Risod was at its lowest in 1991-2005, compared to Maharashtra which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Risod's incremental SNDi rose from 1.26 to 3.66 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Risod ranked 16th out of 157 cities in Maharashtra and 109th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Risod built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Hiriyur fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Charfasson built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Risod fluctuated in connectivity, while Hiriyur became progressively more disconnected and Charfasson became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Risod and Hiriyur have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
