The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Mudkhed plotted against Maharashtra and India. The SNDi of new construction in Mudkhed rose steadily, compared to Maharashtra which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Mudkhed's incremental SNDi rose from 3.83 to 3.93 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Mudkhed ranked 103rd out of 157 cities in Maharashtra and 773rd out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

While Jiajiang and Santo Antônio de Jesus both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Mudkhed built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Mudkhed and Jiajiang both became progressively more disconnected, while Santo Antônio de Jesus fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Mudkhed had a more connected network than Santo Antônio de Jesus in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
