The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Manwat plotted against Maharashtra and India. The SNDi of new construction in Manwat rose steadily, compared to Maharashtra which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Manwat's incremental SNDi rose from 2.66 to 3.37 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Manwat ranked 37th out of 157 cities in Maharashtra and 197th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Manwat built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Pirganj fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Cacoal built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Manwat and Cacoal both became progressively more disconnected, while Pirganj fluctuated in connectivity.
