The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hinganghat plotted against Maharashtra and India. The SNDi of new construction in Hinganghat rose steadily, compared to Maharashtra which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Hinganghat's incremental SNDi rose from 2.64 to 3.89 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Hinganghat built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while El Puente built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Xugou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Hinganghat became progressively more disconnected, while El Puente grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Xugou fluctuated in connectivity. Hinganghat and El Puente have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
