The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Chalisgaon plotted against Maharashtra and India. The SNDi of new construction in Chalisgaon followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Maharashtra which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Chalisgaon's incremental SNDi fell from 2.03 to 1.92 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Chalisgaon fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Magura built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Kimch'aek fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Magura and Kimch'aek both became progressively more disconnected, while Chalisgaon became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Chalisgaon and Magura have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
