The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ujjain plotted against Madhya Pradesh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Ujjain rose steadily, compared to Madhya Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Ujjain and Durango both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Korla built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Ujjain and Durango both became progressively more disconnected, while Korla grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Ujjain and Korla have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
