What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Narnaul and Yuanling both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Gokak fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Narnaul grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Yuanling became progressively more disconnected and Gokak became progressively more connected. Notably, Narnaul had a more connected network than Yuanling in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
