In new street additions, Kaithal fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xingyang built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Buraydah built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Kaithal and Buraydah both became progressively more disconnected, while Xingyang became progressively more connected. Notably, Kaithal had a more connected network than Xingyang in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
