The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hisar plotted against Haryana and India. The SNDi of new construction in Hisar rose steadily, compared to Haryana which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Hisar's incremental SNDi rose from 3.6 to 4.24 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hisar ranked 23rd out of 40 cities in Haryana and 751st out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Hisar built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Anqing fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Van fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Hisar became progressively more disconnected, while Anqing became progressively more connected and Van fluctuated in connectivity. Hisar and Anqing have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
