The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hansi plotted against Haryana and India. The SNDi of new construction in Hansi rose steadily, compared to Haryana which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Hansi's incremental SNDi rose from 2.74 to 2.81 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hansi ranked 2nd out of 40 cities in Haryana and 192nd out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Hansi and Thaton both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Kerakat fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Hansi and Thaton both became progressively more disconnected, while Kerakat fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Hansi had a more sprawly network than Thaton in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
