The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Rajula plotted against Gujarat and India. While Gujarat and India both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Rajula's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Rajula's incremental SNDi rose from 2.41 to 3.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Rajula ranked 19th out of 92 cities in Gujarat and 341st out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Rajula fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Bhanjanagar built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Hendek built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Rajula fluctuated in connectivity, while Bhanjanagar became progressively more disconnected and Hendek grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Rajula had a more connected network than Bhanjanagar in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
