The SNDi of new construction in Gandhidham rose steadily, compared to Gujarat which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Gandhidham and Narowal both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Yar Hussain built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Gandhidham and Narowal both became progressively more disconnected, while Yar Hussain became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Gandhidham and Narowal have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
