The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Dholka plotted against Gujarat and India. The SNDi of new construction in Dholka peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Gujarat which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Dholka's incremental SNDi fell from 2.62 to 2.58 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Dholka ranked 7th out of 92 cities in Gujarat and 171st out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Dholka built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Dajindian built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Yonago fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Dholka and Dajindian both became progressively more disconnected, while Yonago fluctuated in connectivity. Dholka and Dajindian have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
