The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bemetara plotted against Chhattisgarh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Bemetara rose steadily, compared to Chhattisgarh which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bemetara's incremental SNDi rose from 4.85 to 6.25 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bemetara ranked 13th out of 29 cities in Chhattisgarh and 725th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

While Samchon and Al-Zabadani both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Bemetara built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions.
