In new street additions, Barbigha fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Khairpur Nathan Shah built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Tam Kỳ built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Barbigha became progressively more connected, while Khairpur Nathan Shah became progressively more disconnected and Tam Kỳ became progressively more connected. Notably, Barbigha had a more sprawly network than Khairpur Nathan Shah in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
