The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Goroimari plotted against Assam and India. While Assam and India both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Goroimari's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Goroimari's incremental SNDi rose from 6.94 to 9.16 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
While Xingcheng and Xiaoxian both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, Goroimari fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Xingcheng and Xiaoxian both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Goroimari fluctuated in connectivity. Goroimari and Xingcheng have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
