The SNDi of new construction in Duliajan rose steadily, compared to Assam which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Duliajan built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Abu Jibeha built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Khaga built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Duliajan became progressively more disconnected, while Abu Jibeha became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Khaga grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Duliajan and Khaga have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
