The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Vinukonda plotted against Andhra Pradesh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Vinukonda rose steadily, compared to Andhra Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Vinukonda's incremental SNDi rose from 3.56 to 3.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Vinukonda ranked 55th out of 91 cities in Andhra Pradesh and 723rd out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Vinukonda built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Maymana built increasingly connected streets over time and Duitama fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Vinukonda and Duitama both became progressively more disconnected, while Maymana became progressively more connected. Notably, Vinukonda had a more connected network than Maymana in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
