The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Punganuru plotted against Andhra Pradesh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Punganuru followed a zig-zag trend, compared to Andhra Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Punganuru's incremental SNDi rose from 2.9 to 3.26 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Punganuru ranked 31st out of 91 cities in Andhra Pradesh and 465th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

While Usilampatti and New Bussa both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Punganuru fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Usilampatti and New Bussa both became progressively more disconnected, while Punganuru fluctuated in connectivity.
