What about similarly populated cities?
While Maïné-Soroa and Weiqiao both built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, Nidadavolu built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Nidadavolu became progressively more disconnected, while Maïné-Soroa became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Weiqiao became progressively more connected. Notably, Nidadavolu had a more connected network than Weiqiao in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
