The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bhimavaram plotted against Andhra Pradesh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Bhimavaram rose steadily, compared to Andhra Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bhimavaram's incremental SNDi rose from 3.54 to 5.5 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Bhimavaram built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Panzhihua built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Gamboru fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bhimavaram became progressively more disconnected, while Panzhihua grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Gamboru fluctuated in connectivity. Bhimavaram and Panzhihua have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
