The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Saint-Marc plotted against L'Artibonite and Haiti. The SNDi of new construction in Saint-Marc followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to L'Artibonite which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Haiti which rose steadily. Most recently, Saint-Marc's incremental SNDi rose from 3.76 to 5.38 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Saint-Marc and Xilu both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Lichinga built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Saint-Marc and Xilu both fluctuated in connectivity, while Lichinga became progressively more disconnected.
