The SNDi of new construction in Dessalines peaked in 1991-2005, compared to L'Artibonite which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Haiti which rose steadily. Most recently, Dessalines's incremental SNDi fell from 5.4 to 4.37 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. For the full network, Dessalines grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Caijiagang fluctuated in connectivity and New Al Abbasiya became progressively more disconnected. Dessalines and Caijiagang have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
