The SNDi of new construction in San Pedro Carchá followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Alta Verapaz which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Guatemala which rose steadily. In new street additions, San Pedro Carchá fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Corumbá built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Surat Thani built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, San Pedro Carchá and Surat Thani both became progressively more disconnected, while Corumbá grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, San Pedro Carchá had a more connected network than Surat Thani in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
