The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nkwanta plotted against Oti and Ghana. The SNDi of new construction in Nkwanta rose steadily, compared to Oti which was at its lowest in 1976-1990 and Ghana which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Nkwanta built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Tchamba built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Didim built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Nkwanta and Tchamba both became progressively more disconnected, while Didim grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Nkwanta and Tchamba have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
