The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nsawam plotted against Eastern and Ghana. The SNDi of new construction in Nsawam was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Eastern which rose steadily and Ghana which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Nsawam's incremental SNDi rose from 4.28 to 4.96 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Nsawam ranked 5th out of 9 cities in Eastern and 37th out of 53 in Ghana as of 2020.

While Shangdu and Pindamonhangaba both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Nsawam built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Shangdu and Pindamonhangaba both became progressively more disconnected, while Nsawam became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Nsawam and Pindamonhangaba have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
