The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Koforidua plotted against Eastern and Ghana. The SNDi of new construction in Koforidua rose steadily, compared to Eastern which rose steadily and Ghana which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Koforidua's incremental SNDi rose from 4.32 to 6.06 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Koforidua ranked 6th out of 9 cities in Eastern and 42nd out of 53 in Ghana as of 2020.

In new street additions, Koforidua and Myaung Mya both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Xinyi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Koforidua and Myaung Mya both became progressively more disconnected, while Xinyi became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Koforidua and Xinyi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
