The SNDi of new construction in Remscheid peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Nordrhein-Westfalen which rose steadily and Germany which rose steadily. Most recently, Remscheid's incremental SNDi fell from 2.98 to 2.37 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Remscheid built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Kertasari built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Owode built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Remscheid and Kertasari both became progressively more disconnected, while Owode became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Remscheid and Kertasari have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
