The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bonn plotted against Nordrhein-Westfalen and Germany. The SNDi of new construction in Bonn followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Nordrhein-Westfalen which rose steadily and Germany which rose steadily. Most recently, Bonn's incremental SNDi rose from 3.69 to 3.97 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bonn ranked 24th out of 24 cities in Nordrhein-Westfalen and 95th out of 99 in Germany as of 2020.
