In new street additions, Bamberg built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Hà Tĩnh built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Baiqi built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Bamberg became progressively more disconnected, while Hà Tĩnh became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Baiqi became progressively more connected. Bamberg and Hà Tĩnh have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
