The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Augsburg plotted against Bayern and Germany. The SNDi of new construction in Augsburg followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Bayern which peaked in 1991-2005 and Germany which rose steadily. Most recently, Augsburg's incremental SNDi rose from 1.85 to 2.03 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Augsburg and Baoshan both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Ciudad Bolivar built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Augsburg and Baoshan both became progressively more disconnected, while Ciudad Bolivar became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Augsburg and Baoshan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
