The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Reutlingen plotted against Baden-Württemberg and Germany. The SNDi of new construction in Reutlingen followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Baden-Württemberg which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Germany which rose steadily. Most recently, Reutlingen's incremental SNDi rose from 1.94 to 2.97 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Reutlingen fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Fall River built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Dharmanagar fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Reutlingen and Fall River both became progressively more disconnected, while Dharmanagar became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Reutlingen had a more sprawly network than Dharmanagar in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
