In new street additions, Strasbourg and Beilun District both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Huế built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Strasbourg became progressively more disconnected, while Beilun District fluctuated in connectivity and Huế grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Strasbourg and Beilun District have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
