What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Bourges built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Partur built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Zango built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Bourges and Partur both became progressively more disconnected, while Zango grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Bourges had a more connected network than Zango in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
