The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Morsito plotted against Southern Nations, Nationalities and Ethiopia. The SNDi of new construction in Morsito rose steadily, compared to Southern Nations, Nationalities which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Ethiopia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Morsito's incremental SNDi rose from 2.39 to 6.45 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Morsito ranked 38th out of 39 cities in Southern Nations, Nationalities and 174th out of 181 in Ethiopia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Morsito built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Lingwu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Mangi 1 fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Morsito became progressively more disconnected, while Lingwu grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Mangi 1 fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Morsito had a more connected network than Lingwu in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
