What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Doyogena built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Junlian built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Sanawad fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Doyogena became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Junlian became progressively more disconnected and Sanawad fluctuated in connectivity. Doyogena and Junlian have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
