The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kachise plotted against Oromia and Ethiopia. The SNDi of new construction in Kachise peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Oromia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Ethiopia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kachise's incremental SNDi fell from 6.93 to 6.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kachise ranked 70th out of 71 cities in Oromia and 176th out of 181 in Ethiopia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Kachise built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Guzhen built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Maharakul fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Kachise grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Guzhen grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Maharakul fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Kachise had a more connected network than Guzhen in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
