The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Gouder plotted against Oromia and Ethiopia. The SNDi of new construction in Gouder rose steadily, compared to Oromia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Ethiopia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Gouder's incremental SNDi rose from 3.7 to 3.93 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Gouder and Khagrachhari both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Afak built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Gouder and Khagrachhari both became progressively more disconnected, while Afak became progressively more connected. Gouder and Khagrachhari have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
