The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bore plotted against Oromia and Ethiopia. The SNDi of new construction in Bore rose steadily, compared to Oromia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Ethiopia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bore's incremental SNDi rose from 2.38 to 4.4 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bore ranked 47th out of 71 cities in Oromia and 115th out of 181 in Ethiopia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Bore and R S Pura both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Dali built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Bore and R S Pura both became progressively more disconnected, while Dali grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Bore had a more connected network than Dali in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
