The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Nefas Meewcha plotted against Amhara and Ethiopia. The SNDi of new construction in Nefas Meewcha followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Amhara which rose steadily and Ethiopia which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Nefas Meewcha's incremental SNDi fell from 7.76 to 2.9 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020.
