The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kola Diba plotted against Amhara and Ethiopia. While Amhara and Ethiopia both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Kola Diba's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kola Diba's incremental SNDi rose from 1.6 to 3.02 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Kola Diba and Showt both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Banaripara built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Kola Diba fluctuated in connectivity, while Banaripara became progressively more disconnected and Showt grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Kola Diba and Banaripara have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
