The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Tahta plotted against Suhaj and Egypt. While Suhaj and Egypt both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Tahta's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Tahta's incremental SNDi rose from 3.97 to 5.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Tahta ranked 3rd out of 13 cities in Suhaj and 147th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

Tahta and Irapuato have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
