While Suhaj and Egypt both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, El-Shaikh Youssef's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, El-Shaikh Youssef's incremental SNDi rose from 5.79 to 7.56 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, El-Shaikh Youssef fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Yanxi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Qin built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. Looking at the full network, Yanxi and Qin both became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while El-Shaikh Youssef fluctuated in connectivity. El-Shaikh Youssef and Yanxi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
