The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Abnud plotted against Qina and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Abnud rose steadily, compared to Qina which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Abnud's incremental SNDi rose from 7.29 to 9.26 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Abnud ranked 7th out of 8 cities in Qina and 193rd out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.
