The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lahun plotted against Bani Suwayf and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Lahun peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Bani Suwayf which rose steadily and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lahun's incremental SNDi fell from 3.88 to 3.34 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lahun ranked 4th out of 12 cities in Bani Suwayf and 115th out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lahun built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Honnavar built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Quế Võ fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Lahun grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Honnavar became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Quế Võ fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Lahun had a more connected network than Quế Võ in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
