The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Biba plotted against Bani Suwayf and Egypt. The SNDi of new construction in Biba rose steadily, compared to Bani Suwayf which rose steadily and Egypt which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Biba's incremental SNDi rose from 7.58 to 9.1 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Biba ranked 12th out of 12 cities in Bani Suwayf and 201st out of 213 in Egypt as of 2020.
